Job Description
As a plumber in maintenance and renovations you will be responsible for assembling and installing water, gas, sewage, heating and cooling systems, water pipes, gas lines and drains, detecting and repairing leaks, pressure testing gas lines in accordance with method NEN 1078, carrying out repairs and maintenance work on homes and buildings, where complete kitchens are also installed and completely new bathrooms are installed, which you may connect. You work both independently and as part of a team and contribute to ensuring a safe and well-functioning infrastructure.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a plumber in the maintenance and/or renovation industry.
• Extensive knowledge of water and gas technical installations.
• Being certified according to the NEN 1078 method for jacking off gas pipes is an advantage. However, this is not essential as this can also be provided through training.
• Understanding of construction drawings and water-technical diagrams.
• Able to independently detect and repair leaks.
• Flexible and willing to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• In possession of relevant professional certificates and/or diplomas.
• In possession of a driver's license B.

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform installations, repairs and maintenance work on residential and commercial building water supply systems.
• The removal/pressing of gas pipes in accordance with method NEN 1078.
• Installation of water pipes,- and drains.
• Construction and adjustment of sewers and central heating pipes.
• Connecting kitchen units and water heaters.
• Installing plumbing fixtures, radiators, heaters and other heat sources.
• Independently perform diagnostic work and troubleshoot leaks.
• Replace-and-connect toilets.
• Compliance with applicable safety regulations and guidelines.
• Performing inspections and controls to ensure the safety and compliance of dewatering facilities.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as plumbers, carpenters and painters, to bring joint projects to a successful conclusion.
• Preparation of reports and documentation related to work performed.
